Today I made a chili "mac." The chili recipe i used was the Vegan Chili from Jon's from Castle Rock Kitchen: Wicked Good Recipes From the World of Stephen King by Theresa Carle-Sanders, and I served over spaghetti and topped it with cheese and onions. I did use traditional ground beef instead of the vegan version. The chili is a thick, hearty chili that is perfect for serving over pasta, baked potatoes, fries, or hot dogs. The cookbook that the chili recipe is from is my favorite cookbook to cook from. I had wanted it because I am a big Stephen King fan. However, every recipe from Castle Rock Kitchen has turned out wonderfully. It is a cookbook I would reccomend to anyone even if they are not fans of Stephen King.
