Cheeseburger Soup

Today I made Cheeseburger Soup.  The recipe is available in The Tried & True Cookbook: 150 Quick and Easy Recipes for Busy Families By Alyssa Rivers. It is also available online on the website called The Recipe Critic. I love a lot of the recipes from Alyssa Rivers. The ones I have made (including this soup) have been super easy to make and use common ingrediants that I have easy access to. I do reccomend checking out her website or getting her cookbook.
The Cheeseburger soup was very good and would be good on a fall or winter day. I did include a link to the recipe on Alyassa Rivers website for those interested in trying it or looking into tje recipe more.

Pizza and a Margarita

I did not cook today, but we did an enjoy a Big New Yorker Pizza from Pizza Hut. Pizza Hut orginally came out with the Big New Yorker around 2000. It was discontinued for awhile and was brought back a year or two ago. When it was orginally out, we would get one on Saturday nights and then watch a show that was on tv at the time called The Others . I was so excited when Pizza Hut brought them back as it always reminded of those Saturday nights. The margarita recipe I used today was featured in Eat Like A Gilmore: Daily Cravings. An Unoffical Cookbook for Fans of Gilmore Girls, With 100 New Recipes by Kristi Carlson. The recipe was well written and easy to follow. I did only make half a recipe as the orginal recipe made 3-4 margaritas. I usually do not care for margaritas, but these were pretty good.
